Learn the fundamentals of sketching and drawing with ink. Develop skills in blocking, shading, line variation & texturing all in a monochromatic color scheme. Landscapes, portraiture, still lifes and Sumi-e are a few of the features we will be working on. We will also be learning the basics of calligraphy, learning the strokes and brushworks of hand lettering with design as a focus.
Participants must be entering grades 4 to 8.
